I decided that as long as I plan to be releasing a bunch of new content the next little while I might as well just make a general post of this sort and edit it for each thing that get’s added. So here’s what’s come out so far for the summer:

Well, as you can see, I’m starting to get my site together again. I tried tackling Word Press last year but I kind of got burnt out trying to teach myself css and php both at the same time. Trying to figure out a content management system that could handle all the stuff I wanted to throw at it has always been something of a problem and it didn’t much help that I was coding in txt files. So ya, that’s when my back pain started to get really bad. I think I should be able to do everything I need with the “Webcomic” plug-in though. I kind of dread the idea of trying to overhaul the theme but I think I can get by putting most of that off for the future.

Anyway, you can expect to see a lot of neat stuff here before the end of the summer, especially comics. I’m planning on posting an anthology by the name of “Snow Paved Road” of all my old stuff: Bastards II, Ancient Civ., Shiny Blood, Sexy Moonlight Adventure Saga, Twilight Spirit, and some miscellaneous strips. I had to do this illustrated “choose-your-own-adventure” book for school which I want to color and put up as well but I’m just not sure how I’d handle the linking. Then I’d like to finish some of my newer stuff, like this kind of “picture book essay for adults” I was working on and this kind of comic book journal thing I started last time I got out of the hospital. Besides that I want to make a page to put up my most recent sketchbook and maybe even start working on some new comics. So, ya, a lot of stuff and definitely a lot of work.

Besides that, I guess I’m going to try having a proper blog again. I used to have a Livejournal full of with the usual post-adolescent blather, and I’ve been keeping it up with some friends-only Facebook notes, but I think it would be interesting to actually publish stuff again. You can expect a lot of ponderous, over-wrought analysis of video games, television and movies, comics and literature. Mostly old stuff; stuff I really like and want to scrutinize why. Also, I’ll probably end up posting some essays on politics, philosophy and life in general from time to time. Probably less of the polemical rants I used to be so well known for. I’ve also got a few pieces of creative writing I’d like to post as short stories.

Lastly, being back in school for game development, I’m sure I’m going to want to start putting some games up here at some point. Probably just some small proof-of-concept pieces made in console windows or XNA 4.0 though. I’m kind of putting gaming off for the summer so that I can concentrate on my art and writing though.

And that’s about it. I’m as verbose as ever.
